This summer, The Citadel's Tau Iota Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, was one of only 10 chapters nationwide to be selected as an Honor Chapter during the society’s annual Executive Committee Meeting in Milwaukee, Wis.

School of Education Professor Kenneth T. Henson this summer received one of the Text and Academic Authors Association’s highest recognitions - the Franklin Silverman Lifetime Achievement Award.  "I am honored to have been recognized with such a prestigious award,” Henson said.
