Col. Richard Evans and Air Force cadet Alexander J. Winton cut an Air Force cake this week in Mark Clark Hall. Lt. Gen. John W. Rosa, president of The Citadel and retired Air Force, joined the Air Force unit on campus, retirees and Air Force cadets for the 60th anniversary celebration.






A flag memorial on Summerall Field features 3,000 American flags, one for each victim of the Sept. 11th terrorists' attacks. The memorial was created by the Cadet Republican Society in coordination with the Young America's Foundation.

Cadets who earned Gold Stars and those who were placed on the President's List for the spring semester will be recognized at the today's military dress parade, which begins at 3:45 p.m. on Summerall Field.
