The 2005-2006 Summerall Guards handed their role as The Citadel's precision drill team to the 2006 Bond Volunteers during Corps Day parade on Saturday as the 2006 commander passed his sword to the 2007 commander.

"The Gold Star Journal," The Citadel’s student-run scholarly journal, celebrates its 10th year of publication this year. Beginning today through March 24, a history of "The Gold Star Journal" will be on display in the Daniel Library. It is free and open to the public.

Marine 2nd Lt. Almar LaRon Fitzgerald, Class of 2004, died Feb. 21 from injuries sustained in a roadside blast in Iraq. His funeral was Saturday, March 4 in Lexington, S.C.
