Cadets study sweetgrass on Apron Island

Cadet Reynolds Satterfield spent some time this semester with other cadets in Professor Danny Gustafson's Introduction to Plant Biology class studying sweetgrass on Apron Island. The cadets are working on an independent research project on sweetgrass genetics.

Mascots earning regional publicity

General (left) and Boo V, the college's beloved live-in mascots, were recently featured in Lowcountry Dog magazine and were honored as "pet celebrities" during the John Ancrum Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals fundraiser, A Furry Affair. A portrait of the bulldogs was auctioned off during the event.
