Funeral services for Sidney Randolph Crumpton, a retired Army colonel and Citadel chaplain from 1962 until 1977, will be held in Summerall Chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. He died Thursday at the age of 96.

For the 13th consecutive time The Citadel's chapter of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society has been named "Honor Chapter" for its activities during the 2004-2005 academic year.

Visitation for the late Pat Leverett, associate professor of psychology, is from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13 in Summerall Chapel with burial at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the J. Patrick Leverett Award Fund in care of The Citadel Foundation, or to the charity of one's choice.

Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale died on July 5 at the age of 81. A war hero, he was the 15th president of The Citadel and held office from 1979-1980.

Lt. Gen. George Seignious, the 14th president of The Citadel and a distinguished military and government leader, died on Sunday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 o'clock in Summerall Chapel.
