The Citadel family will remember Cadet David Cooper Gasque at a memorial service set for 12:30 p.m. today in Summerall Chapel. Gasque, a second-class cadet from Romeo Company and a business administration major, died Jan. 17 in a two-car accident on U.S. 17 in Colleton County.

Where did the Quick Links box go?

On the home page (http://citadel.edu/), the Quick Links box is now in the upper-right corner of the page, under the "Web Tools" heading. This is partly to increase their visibility, and partly to correct graphic interference with the pulldown menus.

Attention Citadel employees

The Citadel will operate on a normal schedule today, Tuesday, January 27. Employees with difficult travel conditions should exercise caution and arrive on campus as soon as they safely can.

CGPS classes to be held as scheduled today

College of Graduate and Professional Studies classes will be held as usual tonight. Students are encouraged to use caution if traveling and in deciding whether it is safe to drive in inclement weather. The OASIS Department has canceled the ESP tutoring sessions today.

The Citadel's Gospel Choir will join the choirs from three other Lowcountry colleges to pay tribute to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

With the holiday furlough over, cadets, active duty military students and CGPS students now turn their attention to spring semester classes. Cadets head back to the books on Wednesday.
